Youth group Cultural Guerrillas

The Cultural Guerrillas is a youth group in Annantalo that generates ideas and creates its own art and cultural events, exhibitions, workshops and other projects at the facilities in Annantalo and together with partners.

Cultural Guerrillas are changing the art world of young people!

At the moment, the Cultural Guerrillas of Annantalo is a diverse group of 15 schoolchildren and students, all of whom have an interest in art and teamwork. Because the group also includes young people whose native language is not Finnish, we will speak English too. A good feeling lies at the core of our activities: meetings are relaxed, members socialise together and the key issue is to work great ideas up into real events.

The Guerrillas have a budget and can decide on its allocation themselves. The Guerrillas are first in line whenever Annantalo hires help for e.g. events or the supervision of exhibitions.

Interested in joining the Guerrillas? Contact us and join the group: Essi Ruuskanen 040 767 4507, kulttuurisissit.annantalo@hel.fi, or Jaan Kokkonen 040 334 1835.
